Hectron filters are used in water potabilisation units, whether domestic installations or municipal collective networks.
Potable water plants may have difficulties to comply with regulations in terms of turbidity. In some cases, Hectron filters are a good solution to reduce the turbidity to an acceptable level, as a cost effective alternative to ultrafiltration units.
If reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration is required, our filters are a good protection of these systems. To protect ultrafiltration systems, a 100 microns filtration degree is sufficient. In osmosis protection, it is interesting to set up the finest filtration, to increase the life of osmosis membranes: 0.5 or 1 micron.
When using a UV system, an upstream filtration optimizes UV efficiency.
Optionally, AG range filters are available with ACS certificate (french certification for use in potable water).
SUITABLE PRODUCTS
AG filters in ACS version are the most suitable. They have the advantage of being fully automatic, without consumables cartridges and available with very fine filtration degrees.
